Objectives of the seminar

Study of exploration methods for porphyry deposits of metallogenic terranes

The objective of the course is to introduce participants to effective exploration methods for porphyry deposits and metallogenic terranes common in the North American Cordillera. The course covers the geological features of the region, stages of ore assessment and modern approaches to interpreting geological and geophysical data. Particular attention is paid to the practical application of the acquired knowledge in real field conditions.

The venue of the seminar: Almaty, Satbayev University, auditorium 113 of the Main Educational Institution.
Supporting Professional and Academic Development

The course is designed for geology students, exploration geologists and academics who wish to advance their knowledge of ore system exploration and evaluation.
