KAZRC Association and PONEN – A Decade of Activity: Achievements and Prospects.

On October 15, 2025, at Nazarbayev University (Astana), the KAZRC Association and PONEN, in collaboration with the School of Mining and Geosciences (SMG), will hold Conference to mark the 10th anniversary of the introduction of CRIRSCO international standards in Kazakhstan.
The Conference brings together industry leaders and experts, professors, researchers, and SMG students to discuss future trends in the mining industry and the changing needs for education in this field.
The program, which brings together professionals from Kazakhstan and  the world, includes inspiring presentations, focused discussions, and unique professional events showcasing the expertise of KAZRC Association, PONEN, and SMG. The event highlights the importance of collaboration between universities and industry, professional development, and personal connections.
This anniversary conference, which is expected to attract more than 130 participants, will be one of the cornerstone events for strengthening global and local networks and promoting innovation in education and practice in the mining industry.
