About the lecturer: 
Steve Garvin - PhD, member of FAUSIMM, FAIG, FSEG. Steve is a consultant and advisor to many mining and exploration companies and has been involved in the discovery of four large porphyry copper and gold deposits over the past decade. He is the author and co-author of more than 50 scientific articles and abstracts. He is one of the leading experts on porphyry, epithermal and Karlin mineralization in the Circum-Pacific region.
